Payment for your Ayurvedic Treatment or Consultation is Due at the Time of Booking.
We are a small wellness center and request our clients to purchase their appointment at the time that they book it for several reasons.
Consultation work begins for Monica the moment she reviews your paperwork, and begins program development for you. This often begins before she meets you in person for the first time.
Many of our treatments require our practitioners to come in hours early to prepare herbal blends. Missed appointments result in product loss, and negatively impact the therapists who are working hard on your behalf. Because of the preparation involved, several treatments require a minimum 24-hour advance booking. Refer to the treatment descriptions for more details.
Often our practitioners have back to back bookings and it makes it difficult for them to wait until clients have rested appropriately and showered before handling payments. Purchasing your appointment with us at the time of booking enables you to leave when your treatment has concluded and when you are ready.
We cannot make any exceptions to this policy.

Please arrive 20-minutes prior to your appointment, and enjoy a complimentary cup of tea in our relaxation area. For clients who are running late, we will try to accommodate you—if our schedule permits and does not impact the following scheduled guests. If a client is more then 15 minutes late, he or she may be asked to reschedule.
Single Treatments or Consultations
Cancellations must be made at least 24-hours prior to your appointment. Failure to do so will result in a 100% charge of your scheduled treatment. If cancellations are made more than 24 hours in advance, we will issue a credit or gift card to use at Hamsa within one year of issue.
Yoga Series, Workshops, and Courses
Due to our small class size, preregistration is strongly recommended. Tuition is due at the time of registration. If you cancel 14 or more days prior to the first day in your series, you will receive a full refund—less a $50 processing fee for cancellations in the yoga series and courses/workshops that are multiple days long. If you cancel from 1 to 13 days in advance, you will receive credit to use at Hamsa for 50% of the cost of the course. This credit will be held for one year from the date of issue. No credit or refund is available if you cancel your workshop, yoga series, or course on the day of, if you do not show up, or if you leave an event early for any reason.
Programs of this length involve multiple practitioners, personalized products, and individually made herbal medicines and oils. A client cancellation has negative impacts on our therapists and those clients we turned away. Payment for these programs is due at the time of registration. If you cancel at least 14 days prior to the first day in your treatment series, you will receive a full refund—less a $250.00 processing fee. If you cancel from 1 to 13 days in advance, a nonrefundable credit for 50% of the cost of the treatment will be held for one year from the date of issue—less a $450.00 processing fee. We cannot guarantee the ability to accommodate requests to change appointment times. No credit or refund is available if you cancel up to 72- hours before the first day of treatments, if you do not show up, or if you leave an for any reason. If a client does not show up and does not contact us within 24-hours, we reserve the right to cancel the remainder of his or her program.
Certificates are available for pick up, emailed to the sender or recipient, or physically mailed to the recipient. Gift Certificates do not guarantee a specific date or time. Please call in advance to ensure availability. Gift Certificates expire within 1-year from the time of purchase and may be redeemed over multiple visits. When purchasing through phone please provide us with a valid credit card number and expiration date. Gift Certificates are non-refundable or replaced if lost or stolen. However, we can place a credit for the amount of the gift certificate under the name of the recipient at the time of purchase in order to protect your gift.
All Spa Series, Gift Certificate and Gift Card sales are final and non-refundable.
All refunds are for RETAIL CREDIT ONLY, for future product purchases. NO CASH REFUNDS.
Hamsa will accept returns on most merchandise within 30 days of purchase with a valid receipt. Hamsa cannot accept returns on open cosmetics, fragrances, sale items, ‘as is’ items and individual items from a purchased set.
