Lifestyle Tips for May:
Ayurveda advises short cleanses at each seasonal junction to reset the intestinal flora of the body in order to better absorb the nourishment coming from the changing produce at each seasons harvest. Cleansing is especially recommended during Spring because its necessary to release winter accumulation to set the foundation for a clean bill of health as we move into the time of year where we can indulge on the most vital food sources that are only available in warm weather.
Our tip for Spring is to enjoy all the new growth around you. Get outside and soak up some Vitamin D while visually digesting all the beautiful colors in bloom. Enjoy all the fresh greens and sprouts you can get your hands on to help clean out and burn up the extra elements we took in during the cold months.
Sign up for a consultation with Monica Yearwood who can build a cleanse for you. If you’re new or a seasoned ayurvedic enthusiast you can also book a Nutritional Consult with our health counselor Cristina Gutierrez who can customize a food plan and teach you best practices for your body type.
